Hi, Tosh -- I (and I hope some colleagues) could report from Toronto on WID initiatives here, updating chapters in Roger's new book. There's lots to say about some areas (e.g., Engineering, Graduate Studies, U of T at Scarborough). Maybe the gears will also mesh soon for Arts and Science, which has made a number of good public statements about integrating writing instruction into its disciplinary programs. Thanks for taking this on. Let us know if you need help with the proposal. Cheers, Margaret. -- Margaret Procter, Ph.D. University of Toronto Coordinator, Writing Support 15 King's College Circle, Toronto ON M5S 3H7 416 978-8109; FAX 416 971-2027 [log in to unmask] http://www.utoronto.ca/writing At 07:27 PM 3/26/2006, you wrote: >Until two years ago, many of us from the CASLL list were able to get >together at C's through Canadian Caucus and the subsequent dinner >(thanks to Roger).
