David, thanks for your concern. Tooth popped out easily after he scared me about how difficult it might be to extract. However, he really hurt me with the novocain injections, creating a huge hematoma. I look like I've been beaten up by Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly, have big purple bruise on right side of face. I am usually pretty lucky with dental procedures, but having PD makes everything harder, being unable to talk to explain DBS/dental precautions, etc., he must have been in a hurry. The endodontist (he verified the tooth that was the culprit) was really nice that I saw Thursday and a friend of his had had successful DBS for dystonia. My CG/helper is a wonderful person, but is not too sophisticated re medical matters and it is very frustrating as she has a hearing problem and I a speaking one. I'm hoping the blood clot will gradually dissolve. My Mom also had one when neurosurgeon missed nerve and hit blood vessel near nerve/hole to brain during surgery for trigeminal neuralgia. It took a year to go away.
