Frist - the senate majority leader, reminding him that May 24 will be one year since he came out in support of HR 810 and promised to bring it to the floor of the senate for a vote. Next week has been designated as National Health Week and they also referred to large funding cuts for research at NIH and elsewhere. It was pointed out that Sen. Frist's calendar calls for a week devoted to debate on gay marriage and additional time reserved for debate on flag burning.
