Dear Stacey, Bravo! Don't give up the car either, but I would let your boyfriend drive. I too felt driven to the wall in despair by my illness coupled with my mate's disavowal of her marriage vows, and my growing disempowerment. She didn't miss a transgression. But after nearly going out of my mind with grief, frustration, fear, and exasperation, I miraculously found the love of my life and I, in true missiom impossible fashion, decamped with her, giving myself a new life and somewhat restored health. This also benefited my children, having a father who could provide a healthy parental role model. Of course, I can't cite a famous ancestor, unless I quote my great grandfather Schlomo, who while running from a Cossack on horse, cried out, "I've had enough of Russia!"
