Amanda, I kind of  asked the same question when several months ago I posted
the "Mickey has 2 Moms" research. Mice with 2 moms or 2 dads certainly
challenge the anti-gay argument that it is wrong because homosexuals can't
procreate.  Mind you, I'm not arguing pro or con, but noting that following
a pre-scientific, pre-Enlightenment view of the world can cetainly lead to
discomfort.   Those who cling to the certainty of what they think they know,
like Eve was created from Adam's rib, have always been a drag on progress.
I imagine they would oppose mice being created in this way because
scientists would be doing "God's work", instead  of exclaiming, WOW, ain't
that something!!
