I received this e-mail message from a company that I don't know and hadn't heard of. It sounds like an opportunity for some families on the PARKINSN list to pick up a little needed spare change, so I forward it along here: Paid In-Person Interviews for PD Patients & Caregivers Locations: Northern New Jersey & Santa Monica, California The Livingston Group, a public opinion research organization, is looking for Parkinson's disease patients and caregivers of Parkinson's disease patients to take part in paid in-person focus groups in Paramus, New Jersey and Santa Monica, California. The Paramus focus groups will take place on Monday, August 14. The Santa Monica focus groups will take place on Thursday, August 17. Each focus group lasts 90 minutes, thus a patient and caregiver pair would be at the facility for three hours. Each participant will be paid $100 cash at the conclusion of the focus groups. Participants must pass qualifying questions in order to be included and will be asked to create and bring with them a simple collage on the topic of Parkinson's disease.
