My sheep are organically raised - no pellets whatsoever, only pure grains
are used.

I would agree with you about control measures for Scrapie except for the
fact that I've had sheep since 1979 and I know of only *2* cases.

One of the shepherds (a vet) who had lost 6 prize winning sheep demanded
that they be autopsied when the QQ gene was discovered in them.  Not a
single case of Scrapie was found.  She was furious.
