Scott, as you know, many neurological diseases resemble one another.  Kuru
is very far removed from PD but practically the same as Mad Cow and
Cruezfeld/Jacob disease.

Because we have sheep, I am very concerned about prion diseases, one of
which is Scrapie that afflicts sheep.  Since Scrapie *might* be related  Mad
Cow disease (due to poor rendering of sheep carcasses in British feed
plants), the United States has set into motion a program to eliminate those
sheep genetics that cause sheep to be susceptible to the disease.  The
program is essentially a genocide - leaving many shepherds scratching their
heads as to why their non-infected sheep have been destroyed.   I might add
that Scrapie is very rare.
