Thanks to Linda Herman and Bob Johnson I got a chance to read the evaluations of the list "cures" by the 3 scientists. Although some of the adult stem cells in question are from umbilical cords, many were from bone marrow transplants (which is nothing new) as an adjunct to chemo which made more chemo and remissions possible. Despite this, death was often the ultimate victor. Testicular, ovarian and breast cancer are not being treated and cured by ASCs, in fact there were temporary impovements which patients experience anyway and remissions wiih a few patients similar to Turner. Turner's PD condition in 2004 at the Brownback hearing with the 2 spinal cord injury ladies were not deemed cures either and were, of course not up-to-date. The 9 effective treatments were for leukemias and rare blood disorders, I believe.
