Lynn - the right medication and dosages are a very individual thing. Like you, I have been diagnosed with PD for about 3 years. I started my medication with selegiline, then went on to requip at various dosage levels, and am now on a combination of requip and sinemet (carbidopa/levodopa). I also take Parcopa (instantly disolving carbidopa/levodopa pills that disolve in your mouth) as a quick fix when needed.

Work with your movement disorder specialist to get the right medication for you. My experience has been that with the right dosage, I get pretty good relief. But, even with that, I have "off" times when the meds wear off.

  Good luck to you, Ed

Hello, my name is Lynn. I was diagnosed with PD 3 years ago. I found this
group when I was looking up some information on PD. I
Am hoping to get some helpful feedback from others who also have the disease

How is the medication working for others? It doesn't seem to help me much.
Should it make the tremors quiet down completely?
I'm sure I will have lots of other questions, but they will come later.
Thanks in advance......Lynn
