Another ingredient in this problem is fear.  falling is not fun when you end
up in the er and the least bit of hesitancy can contribute to the problem.
you need a coach to tell keep your chin up (literally) and to keep on
keeping on.  lots of walking is good with the largest natural strides
possible.
