The following is contained in an article in a paper distributed a day ago in my community:

If any PD interested person lives in or near Gainesville, Fl, an interactive symposium on the latest info on PD treatment will be held from noon to 6 p.m., Sat., 9/30, at the University of Florida's McKnight Brain Institute.

It's called, "The Parkinson Connection: An Interactive Forum for the Parkinson Community." The webcast will originate from the University of Pennsylvania. People whose lives are touched by PD in the Gainesville area are invited to attend. There will be many presentations, incl. a Q &A session led by Dr. Hubert Fernandes, co-director of the UF Movement Disorders Center.

Pre-registration is required, but the event is free and open to the public at the DeWeese Auditorium of UF's McKnight Brain Institute, 100 S. Newell Dr., Gainesville, FL. Contact Rachelle Stephen, (352) 273-5550, to register or for more info.
