I think Maryse is right, cells do have to be "alive" to be useful altho Diane Wyshak recently sent me some posts re scientists using revived "dead" stem cells, but that still did not satisfy the religious right, because the "cells might not really be dead". The "religious right" is impossible to please. Too bad they are the deciders.
