Bill Gates is well and doesn't have PD. MJFox didn't advocate for PD until he had it. Have I been wrong in my belief that in the past most, if not all, major research has been funded by the federal government? Now government dollars go to faith-based initiatives. How does federal funding of medical research not "promote the general welfare" that is a purpose of the Constitution as stated in the Preamble?
