That´s a good idea.
In France 5 patients suffering from huntington disease had some stem cells 
implanted in 1996 already but the study was revealed in 2000 only.
3 of these patients saw thier intellectual improve ( memory, communication...) 
and their movements also. This improvementpeaked after 2 years post op and 
declined again between 4-6 years post op.
A second experiment started a year ago with 30 HD patients who received cells 
and 30 who got placebo. First results will be published in 2008. This is the 
biggest  experiment in the world so far.
