What about all the on-line abbreviations. They lack the metaphoric reverb of
real cliches, but they are the over-used, abused lingo of every hard-core
MSNer:
GTG (got to go)
TTYL (talk to you later)
BRB (be right back)
WTV (whatever)
ROFL (rolling on floor laughing)
LMAO (laugh my ass off) :-)
BBS (be back soon), LOL, Charlotte
