Azilect is the trade name for Rasageline, an agonist. It has been on
clinical trials for many years and it was approved by the FDA a few
months ago. I think my PWP benefits from it, however she also takes
sinemet, comtan, mirapex and amantantadine. It is hard to confirm the
differential effect of azilect.

We have been experimenting with the dosage trying to reduce her off
period and dyskenisia. I think we have achieved some success. Except
for Azilect (one per day, we have increased the dosage to every three
hours, or 6 dosage packages per day.
Dose is always 1/2 sinemet (25/100), alternating Comtan 200 or 1/2
comtan, alternating mirapex .75 or .5, amantadine liquid 1 tsp first
four doses.
