Dear Editor: The lies of Bush and his clones like Dr. David Prentice about cures from adult stem cells, have been effective in denying hope to millions suffering from incurable diseases and injuries. Dr. Anthony Atala, of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine that produced the research on amniotic fluid stem cells, sent a letter to Congress saying . "It is essential that National Institute of Health-funded researchers are able to fully pursue embryonic stem-cell research as a complement to research into other forms of stem cells." The Congress will again pass The Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act, HR3 and S5 and Bush will veto it again. We do not have a veto-proof Congress, so the President will continue his war on science by building a bridge to the 11th century on lies about adult and amniotic stem cells. Rayilyn Brown 18507 N.
