Diane Wyshak has located and sent me many posts on ASCs for Parkinson's. In 2000-2004 there was justifyably great enthusiasm for the procedure done on Turner. However, I'm still troubled by the fact that his DBS is not mentioned except when Levesque was interviewed by Linda and Peggy in 2001 or was it 2002?

I was cautiously optimistic enough to call L's office in the Spring of 2003 before I had my DBSs.

What is just criminal is the Family Research Council, Prentice, et al, as of this date, still publishing stuff that makes it look like Turner was cured. Payne in 2-16-05 was only going to be in Phase II which never happened by 7-12-05. The aborted Amgen GDNF trials are still to this day being cited by the FRC and they had nothing to do with ASCs. They never update anything that we have found and I'm wondering how many years this will go on.

I have concentrated on Parkinson's, but noticed that the entries for other diseases on the current Prentice list were old, with nothing much later than 2002 with most about 2000, making them 5-7 years old. I'm wondering how many of these people are still alive. The dead can't complain.

As I said in an argument with a ESCR opponent on a blog, we all had hoped the Turner procedure was the answer, but lying about the facts will not change the reality. Promoting these untruths would be like one of us supporters of ESCR and all SCR acting like Hwang was for real. Now I'm not comparing Levesque to Hwang by any stretch of the imagination, but it would be helpful if he would respond to queries about Phase I I which was stopped 7-12-05.
