-------- Original Message -------- Subject: REED Newsletter is now available online Date: Tue, 06 Feb 2007 11:29:15 -0500 From: Kim Yates <[log in to unmask]> Reply-To: [log in to unmask] To: undisclosed-recipients:; Announcement: The Records of Early English Drama Newsletter is now available in electronic format! Scholars of early theatre and performance will be delighted to learn that the REED Newsletter has been digitized and is available in pdf format online through the website of ITER: Gateway to the Middle Ages and Renaissance (www.itergateway.org/et <http://www.itergateway.org/et> ) along with all issues of Early Theatre. REEDN was the predecessor of Early Theatre. It contains twenty-two years worth of groundbreaking research in the field of early drama and performance (1976—1997); information which until now, has been difficult to find. As you are no doubt well aware, Early Theatre is a solidly established voice in the academic field of the study of plays, performances, and dramatic records in the Early Modern period. You may not be aware, however, that Early Theatre depends upon the assistance of the Social Sciences and Humanities Council of Canada for a sizeable proportion of its working budget, and that this funding is directly keyed to the number of active subscribers that the journal can report each year. As as special thanks to our contributors, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to subscribe to Early Theatre if you have not already done so. Your research and ideas have helped to create the REED Newsletter and Early Theatre; your subscription will enable this journal to continue offering studies to scholars and students in your field. For subscription information and a downloadable order form, please see http://www.earlytheatre.ca/etorder.htm <http://www.earlytheatre.ca/etorder.htm> Many institutions and academic societies are subscribers to ITER. Please check under “Subscription Information” to determine whether you are already eligible for access. If not, individual subscriptions are available at reasonable rates, and trial subscriptions can be arranged. See http://www.itergateway.org/iter1a9.htm for details about accessing Iter, if you are not able to reach it now. -- Dr. Kimberley Yates Assistant to the Director Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies 71 Queen's Park Crescent East E.
