40 years, and my husband has been suffering for 22 of those years. All I have ever heard has been, there's a cure around the corner, but no one ever says what corner. I think it's on the other side of the world. He is now into dementia, and that is the worse, I can not leave him unsupervised or alone. PD is one thing and I have been able to survive that, but 36 hours per day as a caregiver is horrendous. I have been advocating for the last 15 years, and I am wearing out period......
