Amanda, I never said cloning uses human beings, etc., that is what opponents
of SCNT say when we're talking about cloning cells.

I guess I'd better never post all sides of an argument lest some of those
views be taken as mine.

 I don't oppose reproductive cloning, just think it is unnecessary.

But opponents of therapeutic (SCNT somatic cell nuclear transfer - an
unfertilized egg and one's own DNA) cloning like to make people think it
involves cloning people, not cells.

Banning and criminalizing SCNT  is what the debate in Nebraska is about.
Like folks in Missouri, they argue it will lead to cloning of people even
though proposed legislation specifically bans that.

Sorry for the misundestanding.
