Hi, Gene.

My husband, David, has been taking Stalevo 150
4-6x/day for about 3 years now. He's never had anything painful, including
finger joints and muscular problems. Doctors have told us that there are
often PD changes to the body, including arthritic conditions, but no one has
mentioned Stalevo as being a cause. It may be something to investigate.
Seeing a rheumatologist familiar with Parkinson's disease might be a next
step.

As to urological problems, that appears to be a PD problem, but I'd
definitely go to a urologist for more specific answers and treatment. David
has been taking Sanctura to help control the urinary urges. He did take
Ditropan and Flomax at separate times, but these drugs can cause confusion
in PD patients...and did so with him. Sanctura appears to alleviate this
side-effect and is being used more successfully in PD patients than the
other drugs on the market.

Hope I've helped a little bit.
