just wondering if there would be any interest in a
website like this for PD:

http://www.patientslikeme.com/

you really have to sign up (free and quick) to explore
the site fully, unfortunately, but if you have some
time and the interest, i would be interested in your
opinion. thanks!

there are forums like this, as well as the ability to
create a profile, as there is here. additional
features include (and this list probably doesn't do
the site justice):

- list of treatments with patient feedback tabulated
and presented in graphical formay (charts); for
example, "why patients take riluzole," and "why
patients stopped taking riluzole" (it is an ALS site)

- list of symptoms with patient feedback in terms of
what they are taking/doing to manage them, and
prevalence, tabulated and presented in graphical
formay (charts)

- search for patients by location, age, symptom,
treatment

- one's profile can include detailed information
regarding one's status, progression, symptoms and
treatment, if one wants to provide it

- blog capabilities

- a registry
