Parkinson's disease is the ruination of not only the PWP's life, but also the caregiver's (usually the spouse) as well as the PWP's children. If the disease goes on over many years, as my husband, David's, has (at least 43 years), it affects the relationship between the PWP and the grandchildren because of the bodily and cognitive limitations that occur as the disease progresses. One doesn't live in a vacuum, so what happens to one happens to all. A tragedy for everyone concerned. Beverly Bashe cg David 71/59/31???
