I know that State Rep Bob Stump is anti-ESCR, as is the very powerful Center for Arizona Policy, James Dobson's group here in AZ. Stump has introduced a bill HB 2770 that would provide funds for ASCR. AZ scientists think AZ is going to become the ASCR hub of the country. If anyone in AZ knows if we have any pro-ESCR friends in the AZ State Legislature, please email me. AZ, despite having a Dem governor, is a very "Red" state and they are constantly trying to undermine possible attempts to encourage ESCR in AZ. For example, Napolitano vetoed 2 laws that required notification of "dangers" of egg donation and prohibit the sale of oocytes.
