CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Rhetor: Journal of the Canadian Society for the Study of Rhetoric
invites submissions for
its third volume, slated for publication in 2009.

Rhetor is a refereed on-line journal published biannually by the
Canadian Society for the
Study of Rhetoric. The first two volumes (2004, 2007) of this new
journal in the field of
rhetorical studies are accessible free at <www.cssr-scer.ca>.

As a scholarly association, the Canadian Society for the Study of
Rhetoric is committed to
exploring the dynamic diversity and disciplinary intersections that
characterize rhetorical
studies in Canada and internationally. In keeping with this spirit, we
invite submissions for
the third volume of Rhetor from scholars in diverse disciplines whose
work addresses
rhetorical theory, practice, history, or criticism from a broad range
of perspectives. For a
sense of Rhetor's inter-disciplinary and multi-perspectival nature,
please refer to the
published volume.

We welcome articles in either English or French. All articles must be
formatted according
to MLA guidelines and must not exceed 6,000 words. Please submit two
hard copies as
well as an electronic file in Word format. Include a separate cover
page with the author(s)
name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information including email
address(es). Do not include
names or other identifying information in the article itself.
