Jeff.

I understand and I was terrified of even taking any BP medication........my
Mom had malignant hyptertension and we had many bad episodes. Also, when I
was being treated for ovarian cancer in 1979-80 I became allergic to alkeran
and leukeran with seizures, but was never nauseous or lost my hair, it got
even thicker and still is. I could not bring myself to even try eldypryl,
the first PD drug I was prescribed. You can imagine how delighted I was
with my first dose of Sinemet......but it never worked again!! I don't
take PD meds at all - DBS got my tremors under control.

It seems my cousin Brian has been on forms of Inderal for borderline
hypertension like me and apparently it also helps his PTSD and sleep
disorder.
This is the problem with ALL drugs, so thanks for the warning to List
members. I think this will also be a difficulty with any "cure" for PD.

I have an aunt who is bi-polar so I know a little of how awful depression
can be. Fortunately, depression has never been a problem for me although
almost everyone on my Mom's side had some kind of neurological problem.
Her father was the PD culprit.
Take care
Ray
