Let's Make This Year the First for Parkinson's Funding in Senate DoD Bill!Take Action! Ask your Senator to Fund Parkinson's Research at NETRP Tomorrow, the Senate is expected to begin consideration of the Defense Appropriations bill, which sets the funding levels for all Defense programs, including the Parkinson's research program, Neurotoxin Exposure Treatment Research Program (NETRP). Although PAN advocates and our congressional champions have successfully secured NETRP funding each year for ten years through the House version of the Defense bill, we have always lost our support in the Senate bill and then had to regain our ground when," in conference" the House and Senate iron out their differences.
