Hello All
Could anyone share their experience or has knowledge about the use of Botox to decrease salivation?
My mom is receiving injections of Botox in her neck to decrease drooling, however I am concerned aout the impact
on her breathing. My mom has had a several episodes in which it sounds like her breath is shallow and labored and I want to
know if there is any correlation with the use of Botox. My mom said the botox has helped with the drooling, which is good, however I am
concerned about adverse effects.
Also does Botox impact voice in an adverse way? My mom has had issues with her voice for several years, however it seemed more prominent
after DBS.
