Hi all,
Is anybody here considering -- or actually participating in --
the Clinical Protocol number C-04-01 titled "A Clinical Evalua-
tion ...the ANS Deep Brain Stimulation System ..." The new system
being evaluated is by Advanced Neuromodultion Systems, Inc. of
Plano, TX. As I understand it, the DBS device being studied is
"current based" as opposed to the older, MedTronic technology
which is "voltage-based."
I'm considering participating in the study and was looking for
any stories -- the "good, the bad, and the ugly" :-) -- that oth-
ers have had with this new DBS system.
On-list or off-list, all input accepted, even though I cannot
guarantee a personal reply. Thanks in advance for any thoughts
on the matter ...
