She drank black tea daily. On a larger scale; I've seen somewhere (J.J.?) that England, a nation of tea drinkers, has a very high rate of Pd. That said, I suppose I should try and find some facts. A BBC web page reports that 1 in 500 Brits have Pd. This figure also appears in the PDS website. http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/about-parkinsons/what-is-parkinsons/how-many-people-have-parkinson.aspx The Pd rate in the USA is pegged at 1 in 300 by http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/74195.php The NIH http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/parkinsons_disease/parkinsons_disease_backgrounder.htm says 500,000 Americans have Pd. (out of 300 million) Who knows? -- Steve Rack ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn Brattleboro VT
