I had Prostiva RF treatment, which I believe is a radio-frequency treatment that
is generally similar to microwave treatments. The procedure was 2+ months ago.

I had short-term side effects of urinary retention and had to make three trips
to the emergency room, plus one overnight stay. It is also quite painful.
Those side effects went away after an overnight stay with continuing flushing of
the bladder. I had blood in my urine for a few more days.

However, my problems with urinary urgency and leakage have not gone away. These
are what got me into the procedure in the first place.

I have no idea whether the original problem or the after-effects of the surgey
are related to my Parkinson's.
