Catherine  I have had Prkinsons about 7 years.  I find that any illness, esp
an infection always knocks me out of kilter for a while.  I just maintain my
meds, sometmes take an extra sinement and it passes and I am back to normal
in a couple of weeks.  His infection sounded particularly rough.  I also
take advil an extra couple of days in order to make sure the infection is
gone.  I think Prkinsons is like an infection and other infections really
impact me.
