Dear Listmates,i am new to this list, my name is Catherine, i have a question please this time but i hope that i can also answer any other questions within this group too. My Dad who has parkinson's 6 years-walking with difficulty and managine daily needs with help has gone downhill in just 2 weeks afer an infection to his leg.He is not awake and reading the paper and watching telly from his bed as he usually would and has been sleeping until 1 o clock. He is exhausted and withdrawn. His sleeping tablets were changed from zimovane 7.5mg to a stronger different tablet, but he has only taken that 2 days at the most and this problem was before that. Doctor said as there is no infection and he is well that the reason for the huge change is the parkinson's.

If anybody any thoughts or experience on this i would be very grateful of any advice at all as im confused. Is it something that can happen, that parkinson's can change so much in just two weeks. Thank you . Catherine [log in to unmask]
