As one of the co-editors of the Newsletter, I'd be thrilled to publish even interim reports about what is going on at the U of T, Margaret. An overview of the projects would also be welcome.
The last issue focused on technology in the writing classroom (http://publish.uwo.ca/~rgraves3/inkshed24_2.pdf); If you have comments or responses to it, please write them down and send them along before April 15. We'd like to get the next issue out before the annual conference in May (http://www.stthomasu.ca/inkshed/inkshed25/). At one time I think it was frowned upon or a curiosity if writing teachers used computerized resources; now, I wonder if the pendulum hasn't swung the other way. What are the disadvantages of using these technologies? At the conference at UWO in December, there was no shortage of people expressing resistance to these technologies--in fact, it seemed like the majority regarded them as suspect. If you have an opinion on this, please write it down and send it in ([log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask]) before April 15.
