I think that some mention of CASLL, CATTW, and perhaps CSSR would indicate the extent of Canadian Writing Studies, and Susan wouldn't have to chase signatures or seek endorsements.

First of all, let me thank Susan for authoring the draft. As everyone else has
said, I also feel that the letter represents our position very well. Other
people have already voiced whatever the suggestions I might have had.
I think it is helpful to include some indications that the letter was endorsed
by CASLL and CATTW, but I am not sure if we need the signatures or not.
