Hi,

As a member of CASLL and CWCA, I strongly urge the inclusion of writing
centre staff/faculty. I have followed this thread with enormous interest,
and I am sure I am not alone. The discussion has been very invigorating and
entertaining (no small point), and I am delighted to see the idea of
collaboration in action. I am also very grateful to Susan and everybody who
has contributed ideas that writing studies get represented properly in the
Canadian academic community.

Thank you,

Emmy

I would also like to see CSSR and the Canadian Writing Centre Association
(CWCA) / L’Association canadienne des centres de rédaction
(ACCR) included as contributors to Susan's note. I know there's considerable
member overlap of those groups with the Inkshed list, but it might also be
wise to contact the executive members directly to confirm that they want
their groups to be mentioned.

The first Exec of CWCA/ACCR was just formed last summer. (Unfortunately
there's no website yet.) This is the list:

* Chair: Martin Holock, [log in to unmask]
* Co-Chair: Lisje de Burger, [log in to unmask]
* Finance: Marion Smith McKeown, [log in to unmask]
* Secretary/Registrar: Jana Weerasinghe-Seijts, [log in to unmask]
* Webmaster: Vacant
* Newsletter Co-ordinator: Judith Tuck, [log in to unmask]
