Registered voters in Washington State are being asked to collect five to 20 (or more) signatures for Initiative 1000. The initiative is to get a law on Washington State books based on Oregon's Death with Dignity Law. The effort is being sponsored by former Washington State governor Booth Gardner. He's a fellow member of our Parkinson's "Club" and also sponsors the Booth Gardner Parkinson's Care Center. There are just nine weeks left in this drive so time is of the essence.
