The series makes its U.S. debut exclusively on The 101 June 5 at 8 p.m. ET, and chronicles a team of seven adventure seekers as they traverse across four continents and two oceans, all to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's disease. "Odyssey is a unique project that integrates extreme adventure travel with social responsibility. Airing every Wednesday night in HD, Odyssey will take viewers on a worldwide journey with team leader Nick and his six cohorts Neil, Rolf, Todd, Chanda, Nancy and Justin as they explore the different terrain and cultures of 26 countries. Throughout the 13-episodes of unprecedented television adventure, viewers will get to ride shotgun, watching the team as they: * Descend into the jungles of Costa Rica, soak in the majestic views of Macchu Picchu, and visit End of The World in Argentina * Spend New Year's Eve in Guayaquil, Ecuador where they explode effigies with the locals and run out of gas in the Atacama Desert in Chile * Dive the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, Australia * Are the first to cross Myanmar East to West in over 50 years and get detained in India, deported from China and sent back into Pakistan * Meet the Dalai Lama at his Indian home in exile where he wishes the team luck on their journey. The trip raised more than $100,000 for Parkinson's research and was supported by Michael J. Fox, James Caan, and the Dali Lama-all of whom signed the three SUVs to be auctioned off to raise additional funds.
