*The Fifth International Symposium on Genre Studies*
will meet on August 11-14, 2009 in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul,
Brazil--a lovely city of 400, 000 in the mountains inland and north of
Porto Allegre, in southern Brazil, in a grape growing region (for more
