I've been on Sinemet for 3-1/2 years, with generally satisfactory results. My "off" time is usually about 30-45 minutes before the next dose. Last week my doc replaced the Sinemet with Stalevo. I haven't seen any great difference yet. Sinemet is available as a generic (about $110 for a 90-day supply, $28 co-pay under medicare D). Stalevo is not generic, and costs $1150 BEFORE the co-pay for a 90-day supply. I'm in the "donut hole" for Medicare D, so I have to pay the full cost. What are the thoughts of those on this list -- are the benefits of Stalevo worth the extra cost? Wilson In a message dated 8/19/2008 2:00:51 A.M. I started stalevo about four years ago. george **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here.
