In my country (Malaysia), the main problem about PD is ignorance. Almost everyone doesn't know anything about PD. Even among those who know PD, they think PD is an unimportant illness.

Recently, we published a book with the title "Selfless Warrior" - fighting for the rights of the neglected Parkinson's community in Malaysia". This book was a biography of Mr. Lloyd Tan, the founding father of the first Malaysia Parkinson's support group. He died last year, and this book is a tribute to him.
