Hi Peter, The honest answer to you question is I don't know. Until reading todays postings on the List I wasn't aware that Methanol was a part of the final product. All that I recall is that it was Laboratory Grade methanol., and that I used it on a daily basis during procedures for checking levels of Aspartame, and also as a sterilising agent during microbiological testing .
