Nigel, good day. I was diagnosed with PD at age 61. I had to quit working the following year due to the effects. I filed for SS disability and was denied. Have you filed or know of anyone that has and given SS disability due to PD? I was using methanol / paint reducer chemical type products in marine painting and my wife thinks that this exposure ma have been the trigger to bring on PD. I have often wondered if the exposure to Methanol may have played a part in my PD, I guess I will never know for sure.
