Hi, Thanks for the tip! I can open them okay with OpenOffice but there's still a lot of them (~40-50 files) and working out how they all fit together will take a few hours. My dad's coming to town in a couple of weeks and he worked with Miles to try and get things into a web-presentable form so he can help me if I can't work it out by myself. Part of the problem is that Miles just got a bit too old for the whole thing while they were still in the writing-up process. His wife died and he moved into a nursing home. Still, my dad says he has all the hard-copy versions of Miles's notes and graphs and so on, so we should be able to reconstruct something.
