The MAMA organizers are actively soliciting papers on urban drama. DK * CALL FOR PAPERS: MAMA 33 Urban Life and Culture * Plenary Speaker: Lester K. Little, Professor Emeritus of History, Smith “Who did the heavy lifting in Italian cities?” The Mid-America Medieval Association will host its annual conference at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, *February 28, 2009*. Deadline for submission of abstracts: December 15, 2008. The theme of this year’s conference is urban life and culture, however, as usual, papers on any medieval topic will be considered.
