John, this symptom must be brought to the attention of her doctor.  It would 
seem that she has a seizure disorder of some kind that needs to be 
addressed.  Seizures can be dangerous and should not be taken lightly - 
especially in the elderly.  There are plenty of medications that are 
effective in controlling seizures.
