Subject: Letter to Dr. Schuller re Cure for PD

 RE: CURE FOR PARKINSON'S DISEASE

 Dr. Schuller:

The Parkinson's community requires an immediate and public clarification
of your recent assertion that a friend of yours has discovered a cure for
Parkinson's disease.

As far as we know no one in the world is near a cure, and false claims
cause great pain and suffering to a population already subjected to crushing
 physical and mental challenges.

You owe it to us and the general public to tell us who and what is
involved. If this is untrue, as I suspect it is, whatever motivated you to
commit such an outrage? Carelessness, ignorance? Runaway positive thinking?

It sounds to me like you may have confused Parkinson's disease with trigeminal neuralgia since PD has nothing whatever to do with "where the blood meets the nerve". Also the brain surgery for trigeminal neuralgia you might be referring to is over twenty years old.

 Awaiting an explanation,
