Sue, you need to bring this to the attention of your doctor even if you have 
told him about it again and again.  You might need a stronger or different 
medication in order to clear up this infection.

Please keep in mind that thrush no only coats the tongue but causes sores on 
the tongue and throat which are painful.  If you merely wake up with a white 
tongue the cause could be something else.
